Apportunix Licensing¶
All Apportunix apps can be tested for free and without limitations in any of your Dynamics 365 Business Central Sandbox environments.
To use all features of an app (including those requiring a subscription) in a Production environment, you can start a free 14-day trial subscription. Note that the free trial will automatically change to a paid subscription after the trial ends. You can cancel your subscription at any time you like and will be able to use the subscription features of the app until the current invoicing period ends.

The licensing of Apportunix apps for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is handled by the Monet library app.
To manage your subscriptions, you can use the Apportunix Subscriptions page. On this page you can start or cancel subscriptions for Apportunix apps, and view or update the payment methods that are used for your subscriptions.
Please note that your payments are handled safely, in a PCI-compliant manner in cooperation with our payment provider Stripe. For more information, feel free to reach out by visiting the Contact page on our website.
Sandbox Environments¶
When you install an Apportunix app in a Sandbox environment you can use all features for free without any restrictions for any period of time.
When you use features that would require a subscription in a Production environment, you will receive a notification from the Monet library app to inform you about this. This is purely an informational message; you can continue to keep using the app features without any restrictions and without any costs being incurred.
Example
The Document Archive app includes a setup wizard that helps you to set up the app step by step. As the app requires a subscription in a Production environment, one of these steps is to set up a subscription before you start using the app in a Production environment.
However, when you use the app in a Sandbox environment you can continue to the next step without setting up a subscription.
When using the app, notifications are shown to indicate that a subscription will be required to use this in a production environment.
Production Environments¶
When you install an Apportunix app in a Production environment (or on-premises), some features might be blocked until you create a subscription for this app. Note that subscriptions come with a free trial period.
When you use a feature that requires a subscription in a Production environment, you will get a notification or error message from the Monet library app to inform you about this.
The notification includes an Open Subscriptions action that takes you to the Apportunix Subscriptions page where you can set up a subscription for the app.
